Can you believe how fast this year has flown by? It feels like just yesterday that I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous baby girl during her newborn photography session. From her very first portraits to this incredible milestone, Aster has been nothing short of a joy to have in the studio. She has one of those magnetic personalities that lights up the room, and watching her grow this past year has been an absolute privilege.

And let me just say, I’m totally smitten with her parents, too! They’ve been such a delight to work with, and their love for Aster shines through in every moment they spend together. They’ve truly made this journey as memorable for me as it has been for them, and I can’t thank them enough for trusting me to capture these fleeting moments. It’s been a year filled with so many sweet memories, and I’m so grateful to have been part of their story.

Even at this session, Aster brought her charm and unique personality with her. She arrived feeling a little grumpy (hey, we all have our moments!), but true to her nature, she quickly turned it around. With just a little bit of coaxing and a lot of love, she transformed into the happy, smiley baby girl we all know and adore. It’s that resilience and joy that makes her so special and that sparkle in her eyes, oh my goodness, it just melts my heart every time! 💕

This milestone photo session was extra special, not only because Aster is officially one, but because it gave us the chance to capture her growing confidence, curiosity, and blossoming personality. She’s no longer the tiny newborn I photographed a year ago but a bright, giggling, and playful little girl who has so much wonder and excitement for the world around her.
